Frequently Asked Questions
What is ExportReady.africa and who is it for?
ExportReady.africa is Africa’s
compliance-led agricultural export platform.
We help African agribusinesses
digitize their compliance documentation and connect with verified international
buyers across the EU, Middle East,
UK, and Asia.
The platform serves two users — African exporters who want to get discovered and verified, and international importers who need
compliant, audit-ready African suppliers.
What does the ExportReady Verified badge mean?
The Verified badge means our team
has manually reviewed and confirmed
your compliance documents — including
your export license, phytosanitary
certificates, and GlobalG.A.P. records.
It is not automatic. Every document
goes through human review before
the badge is awarded. Verified
exporters get priority placement
in importer search results.
Which African countries are supported?
All 54 African nations. Whether you
are based in Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana,
South Africa, Nigeria, Rwanda,
Côte d’Ivoire, or anywhere else
on the continent — your national
export authority certificates are
recognized in our verification system.
If your country is not yet listed
contact us and we will add it
within 48 hours.
What is the EUDR and does it affect me?
The EU Deforestation Regulation requires exporters supplying the EU with cocoa, coffee, cattle, palm oil, soy, wood, or rubber to prove their supply chains
are deforestation-free.
If you export any of these commodities to Europe you need a due diligence statement.
ExportReady.africa helps you document
and display your EUDR compliance
status to EU buyers directly on
your verified profile.
How much does it cost?
Exporters can start free — no credit
card required. Our Exporter Pro plan
is $39 per month or $374 per year
with a 7-day free trial. For importers
our Basic plan starts at $79 per month
and Premium at $149 per month —
both with a 7-day free trial.
Annual plans save 20% compared
to monthly billing.
What documents do I need to get verified?
At minimum you need a valid export
license from your national trade
authority and a phytosanitary
certificate from your national
plant health authority. For EU
markets we strongly recommend
also uploading your GlobalG.A.P.
certificate and EUDR due diligence statement.
Additional certifications
like organic, HACCP, and Fairtrade
further strengthen your profile.
How do importers find and contact exporters?
Importers use our advanced search
to filter verified exporters by
crop type, country, certification
level, export season, and minimum order quantity.
They review full compliance profiles before making
contact and send direct enquiries
through the platform.
ExportReady.africa
facilitates the introduction —
the commercial relationship belongs
entirely to both parties.
Is my business data secure?
Yes. All documents are stored on
encrypted servers and are never
publicly accessible — importers
see your certification status
not your original files. We are
fully GDPR compliant and we never
sell or share your data with
third parties. Our revenue comes
entirely from subscriptions.
Can cooperatives and farmer groups register?
Absolutely. Cooperatives and farmer
groups are especially well suited
to the platform. Group GlobalG.A.P.
and collective organic certifications
are fully supported. Many European
buyers actively seek cooperatives
for the smallholder impact story
they represent. Simply register
as an exporter and indicate in
your profile that you represent
a cooperative or farmer group.
What happens when my certification expires?
Exporter Pro subscribers receive
automatic email alerts 90, 60,
and 30 days before any certificate
expires. If a certificate lapses
your Verified badge is temporarily
suspended and your profile shows
Action Required. Upload your
renewed certificate and our team
reinstates your Verified status
within 48 hours.
How do I know the compliance data is accurate?
Every document is manually reviewed
by our team before a Verified badge
is awarded. Where public databases
exist — such as the GlobalG.A.P.
certificate database — we cross-reference
certificate numbers directly.
All exporters sign a Declaration
of Accuracy and false submissions
result in immediate removal.
We are transparent about what
our verification covers and
recommend importers conduct
a sample order before committing
to large volume contracts.
How do I get started?
For exporters: visit our pricing page,
select your plan, create your account,
complete your profile, upload your
compliance documents, and get verified
within 48 hours.
For importers: choose your plan,
create your account, and start
searching our verified exporter
directory immediately.

free trial with full access.
