By accessing or using ExportReady.africa — including our website, platform, dashboard, and related services — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the platform on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ExportReady Africa Limited ("ExportReady.africa", "we", "us", "our").

We reserve the right to verify your eligibility at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
To access platform features beyond public browsing, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated at all times.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@exportready.africa, if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
Each company or individual may maintain only one active account on the platform. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent platform limits, subscription requirements, or enforcement actions is strictly prohibited and will result in termination of all associated accounts.
You must not impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation, or provide false information about your business, credentials, or capabilities. ExportReady.africa reserves the right to verify account information and to remove accounts that contain false or misleading data.
ExportReady.africa offers both free and paid subscription plans for exporters and importers. Paid plans are offered on monthly or annual billing cycles. Full details of plan features and pricing are available on our pricing pages.
Paid plans include a 7-day free trial period. Your payment method will be charged on day 8 of the trial unless you cancel before the trial period ends. Cancellation during the trial period will result in no charge to your payment method.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled. You authorise us to charge your payment method on record for the applicable subscription fee at the start of each renewal period. Prices are displayed in USD. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' written notice to existing subscribers.
Monthly subscriptions: No refunds are provided for partial months. You may cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Annual subscriptions: Refunds for annual subscriptions cancelled within the first 14 days of the billing period will be provided on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion. No refunds are available after 14 days of an annual billing period.
Free plan: No billing applies.
If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to collect payment again. If payment remains outstanding after 7 days, your account may be downgraded to the free plan and access to paid features will be suspended until payment is resolved.
As an exporter on ExportReady.africa, you agree to the following obligations:
All compliance documents you upload must be genuine, current, and accurately represent your business's actual certification status. Expired, forged, or fabricated documents are strictly prohibited.
You must update your profile and documents promptly when certifications expire, are renewed, suspended, or revoked. You may not allow expired certifications to remain displayed as current.
Your profile must accurately represent your company's actual export capabilities, products, volumes, and market experience. You must not exaggerate or misrepresent your credentials to attract buyer enquiries.
You agree to respond to importer enquiries in good faith, professionally, and within a reasonable timeframe. Using the platform to collect buyer contact information without genuine intent to trade is prohibited.
By submitting your exporter profile and uploading compliance documents, you make a formal declaration that all information provided is accurate, authentic, and up to date. You acknowledge that ExportReady.africa may verify your documents with the issuing authorities and that providing false information constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
As an importer on ExportReady.africa, you agree to the following obligations:
The ExportReady Verified badge indicates that our compliance team has reviewed the documents submitted by an exporter and confirmed that they appear authentic and current at the time of review. Verification is based on documents provided to us and, where possible, cross-referenced against publicly available certification databases.
Verification does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement of the exporter's products, quality, delivery capability, financial standing, or any commercial attribute beyond the document review described above. Importers must conduct their own independent due diligence.
We reserve the right to suspend or revoke the Verified badge at any time if we determine that:
While we take reasonable steps to verify documents, we cannot guarantee the authenticity of all documents submitted to us. ExportReady.africa shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by an importer as a result of reliance on a Verified badge where the underlying documents were fraudulent despite our verification process.
You must not use ExportReady.africa for any of the following purposes:
ExportReady.africa, including its name, logo, platform design, software, databases, content, and all associated intellectual property, are owned by ExportReady Africa Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform or content without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the platform, including your compliance documents and profile information. By uploading content, you grant ExportReady.africa a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and use that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform and providing our services to you. We will not use your content for any other purpose without your consent.
If you provide us with suggestions, feedback, or ideas about the platform, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
ExportReady.africa is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
We do not warrant that the platform will meet your specific business requirements. You use the platform at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ExportReady Africa Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to:
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount of subscription fees paid by you to ExportReady.africa in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting help@exportready.africa. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period for paid subscriptions. Free accounts may be deleted immediately upon request.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if:
Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease immediately. Your exporter profile will be removed from the directory. Data retention following termination is governed by our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability — shall continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation between the parties. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be submitted to arbitration in Nairobi, Kenya, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Kenya.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms you must stop using the platform before the effective date.
